Owner, Denise Marks started GoPlanetEarth out of a desire to develop both a functional and fun business. "I left the corporate world in pursuit of a business that would satisfy my creative abilities and allow more freedom in my work schedule. The creative attributes of this business are great, however, the freedom is another story. I work more hours now than ever. But, I enjoy the work and that ultimately leads to contentment and quality of life."
Denise's strong interior design background, coupled with a business degree, led to the development of GoPlanetEarth.com. Husband, Chris, is a vital part of the company team. His 20 plus years of marketing experience have proven invaluable.
"Soap making is an art form. The goal of our company is to introduce and educate home crafter's and business owners to the joys of soap making. We provide a large selection of creative soap making supplies as well as manufacturing specialty soap embeds/inserts and our own line of soap molds."
Seeing customers succeed in their soap making ventures is of great importance. Advice and instruction is only an email away. Personalized email responses from the company owner are not uncommon. Unlike many large companies, Denise takes an active role in communicating with customers. "In this age of voice automation, our customers still want to know their concerns, questions, and complaints are being reviewed by a "REAL" person. They want a personalized response. Sometimes we are not immediately available to answer a call, but respond promptly to all voice messages. "
Office personnel and packing staff diligently work to ensure all orders are processed timely and accurately. Everyone pitches in to assist with order processing and it's not unusal to see Denise clad in an apron putting away stock or assisting with orders. Getting orders out is a team effort. We realize our customers have a choice in suppliers which is why we strive to offer a good product, at a fair price, with great service. We value our customers and want their repeat business.
