The 1/2 ounce powder colorants are packaged in clear tubs. The 4-ounce bulk powders are packaged in clear plastic bags.
We offer a number of coloring options for soap and have provided brief descriptions to help you select the color product best suited for your soaping project.
Neon Brights Liquid Gels
Fabulous color and very stable in both CP and MP soap. The final color outcome depends on whether you are using white or clear soap base. These are non-cosmetic grade and should be used in soap only. A little goes a long way when coloring melt and pour soap base. One of our favorites and a best seller!!

Flower Child "Dye-Free" Liquid Gels

Bright liquid gel colors suspended in glyecrin and made specifically for GoPlanetEarth. These colors are DYE-FREE and non-bleeding making them an ideal choice for soap embeds / inserts. Available in 7 top-selling colors. Cosmetic grade and FDA approved for use in soap, lips, eyes, face and nails.
Mineral Oxides Liquid Gels

These are commonly known as oxides, ultramarines and titanium dioxide. These inorganic colors do not bleed (migrate) and are generally deeper in hue. When used in clear soap base, they will cause in to become opaque. This is great if you are looking to make dark colored soaps such as black, chocolate brown, kelly green, and many other earthtone colors. Keep in mind that you will need to use clear soap base to achieve these colors. Know your color chart. There is a big difference in color hues when using white and clear soap base. No matter how much red you add to white... you're gonna get PINK!! It's a color law and you can't change it.
Jewel Color Liquid Gels

Beautiful colors that can be both dyes and pigments....meaning some colors will migrate, others will not. Make sure you check the detailed info for each color to determine which colors migrate (especially if you are using the colors for embeds). Favorites for us are the ruby and sapphire... beautiful colors! The Pearl Pink is a favorite in clear soap. These colors are best used in clear soap base to get the full effects of the intended color.
Metallic Color Liquid Gels

These colors should be used in clear (transparent) soap base as they require light to reflect the colored mica. If used in white (opaque) soap base, the color will be dull. Use in clear soap for best results. These colors are non-bleeding and stable in all types of soapmaking.
Other Colors Liquid Gels

And the color list goes on... here you will find a wonderful true red as well as many other specialty colors. It's a mix of cosmetic and non-cosmetic grade colors but all are approved for use in soap. The color description will note whether the color migrates.
Powder Pigments/ Colored Mica

All of these mica powders are cosmetic grade; safe for eyes, nails, and face cosmetics as well as soap. These colors are fabulous when used to dry brush colors on the face of melt and pour soaps. We give pointers on how to do this.
