Soap Making Products: Body Butter Whip Base
This base provides a great world of possibilities. Whip it into a soap parfait, color and layer, use as a base, a shaving butter or foam, a base for a sugar or salt scrub. Body butter is a luxurious, creamy cleansing product with the consistency of butter and can be used as a moisturizing body cleanser or a shaving cream. Paraben Free and Propylene Glycol Free!
Whip it with a hand-held blender and watch it double in volume. Add fragrance or essential oils, color, or any other additive while your whipping. Add almond or olive oil (about 1 1/2 to 2 ounces per pound) for a moisturizing facial scrub.
Makes a wonderful base for a salt or sugar scrub. Add salt or sugar to the point of saturation. Once saturation is been reached, any additional sugar or salt added will remain in crystal form and act as an exfoliant.

You will need at least two pounds if you plan to whip with a mixer. Less than two pounds is not enough volume around the beaters. One pound will be enough if making our soap frosting. Accepts up to 5% of fragrance or essential oils. We recommend no more than 3% for best results.
