This page contains important information about ordering terms, conditions of sale, and shipping policies. Please take time to read this posted information prior to placing your order.

Placing an order with GoPlanetEarth (by phone, fax, or the online shopping cart) is acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms.

Oversea shipments are sent by US Postal Global Express service. The online shopping cart DOES NOT calculate shipping on overseas shipments. Shipping cost is manually calculated once order is received.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER? Every effort is made to ship most orders within 1-3 days. This is not always possible during busy seasons (Sept. - Dec. ) or when ordering colored soap product (colored soap product will add a minimum of 2-3 days to order processing). During our busy seasons, it may take 3-4 business days to process some orders. If you need to receive an order by a certain date, email first to ensure we can accommodate your request. We do not process or ship orders on the weekend or holidays.

CATALOG: We do not offer a printed catalog.

BUSINESS HOURS are Monday-Friday, 10 am - 5 pm EST. If you call and reach our secure voice mail it means we are assisting other customers. Leave a message (with area code, phone number and time zone) so we may return your call. Our warehouse facilities and business operating policies do not facilitate order pick-up by local (Michigan) customers.

ORDER MINIMUM: A small order fee of $3 is added when ordering less than $20 in product.

PRICING/TYPE ERRORS: We make every effort to keep prices current and up-to-date. We reserve the right to charge prevailing rates at the time of shipment. We also reserve the right to make corrections to published rates due to keying/typing errors on our part and product description errors. This applies to all prices published and product descriptions on our web site, in email flyers, and any other published material received from our company.

SHIPPING METHODS:

Domestic: UPS ground, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3-Day Select
UPS 2-Day and 3-Day are premium services and more costly. Note: The online shipping rate shown may not accurately reflect the actual cost charged to your credit card when selecting premium services based on dimensional weight (box size plus weight).

We reserve the right to ship by US Priority Mail if it offers a better savings. We ship Postal Flat Rate if items fit the flat rate box size. Three standard sheet molds will fit a Flat Rate Box. Flat rate shipping is only available within the US. Insurance will be added to the Flat Rate cost.

Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico : We reserve the right to use USPS Priority Mail if it offers you a better savings. US Postal Flat Rate will be calculated IF the items fit the flat rate box size.

Canadian: UPS Canada Standard
We reserve the right to ship Canadian orders by postal service if it offers you a better savings. Generally, UPS offers a better shipping rate. Canadian customers are responsible for any brokerage fees, customs and/or duty taxes that may apply.

Overseas International: Ship by US Postal Service Global Express or International Priority Mail (no exceptions!).

The shopping cart does not calculate the cost of overseas shipping. You will be notified of the cost by email once order is received. Because of the additional work international orders entail, there is a $5.00 document handling fee. International orders are processed on a first come/first served basis. We do not guarantee delivery dates on any postal shipments. Delivery timeframe is based on the estimated delivery times posted on USPS.com web site. On average, it takes 10-14 days to receive international postal shipments. However, delivery can take up to 30 days in some instances.

All postal shipments require a 30-day waiting period before damage or loss claims can be filed. We DO NOT compensate for any damage or loss until the postal service approves and pays the claim. This could take upwards of 90 days! We process all international postal shipments online. The online postal software only provides insurance coverage up to $100.00 per carton. If your ITEM TOTAL exceeds $100.00, the following fees applies. Please inform us if you want to purchase full product coverage.

-- Purchasing insurance over $100 requires that we hand deliver your carton to a postal desk clerk. A $14.25 fee is added to your order total for this service.
-- You will be charged the cost of the additional insurance. Cost is determined by product value.
-- If you do not purchase the additional insurance coverage, our liability for any lost product is limited to $100.00.

Overseas (international) customers are responsible for any brokerage fees, customs and/or duty taxes that may apply.

DELIVERY SIGNATURE: Orders of $150 or more may require your signature upon package delivery. Customers are responsible for shipping and handling charges if a package is returned because no one was available to accept it. If this may be a problem, please give us an address where someone will be home to receive the package for you.

SHIPPING & HANDLING COSTS: A nominal handling fee is added to every order. The handling fee is $0.95 for the first carton, and 0.50 for each additional carton. The handling fee will not exceed $5.00 on multiple carton orders. A PDF E-sales receipt is sent when order ships and includes any additional shipping/handling costs due to multiple boxing, extra UPS handling charges and UPS Rural Route Surcharges. Print this E-receipt. It is your receipt and will serve as your packing list.

When ordering online, the shipping amount shown during checkout is only an estimated charge generated by the UPS online system. The system is unable to determine and account for multiple boxes, dimensional weights and certain surcharges. Therefore, your shipping charges may be higher (or lower) than the online estimation. Higher costs are likely due to multiple boxing, dimensional weights, extra UPS handling charges and UPS Rural Route Surcharges. In most cases, the online shipping charges shown are accurate. If we find you have been overcharged in shipping costs, your order total will be adjusted when the order ships. If additional shipping charges apply, your credit card will be charged accordingly.

ADDRESS CORRECTIONS: The customer is responsible for any additional fees charged by UPS for address corrections. This fee is applied when packages are missing suite numbers, contain typos including zip code errors, or contain any other incorrect information that is supplied by the customer within the "Ship To" area of the online order form. UPS charges for address changes such as dropping off your package at any address other than the one provided in the "Ship To" area of shipping label. The UPS address correction fee is $7.50 per carton. We reserve the right to charge for these fees once we are notified by UPS. Any applicable fees will be charged to the credit card associated with the order.

PHONE ORDERS:

There are occasions when a customer is unable to access our web site and needs to place an order by phone. If your order is taken by phone, sent by email or fax, the following terms apply:

Customer takes FULL RESPONSIBILITY for phone and email orders. We make every effort to fulfill phone orders, handwritten fax orders, and email orders based on the information received. However, we take no responsibility for miscommunication about items ordered by phone, handwritten faxes, or by email. If you have concerns about this policy, we suggest ordering online through our secure shopping cart, or faxing a printed copy of your shopping cart order. A shopping cart print-out assures we have valid item numbers and product descriptions. We cannot offer exchanges, compensation, or returns on any incorrect product received if you did not submit your order via our online shopping cart.

When placing an order by phone, email or fax, it is understood that you have acknowledged your acceptance and agreement to all terms/conditions of sale as posted by GoPlanetEarth.com.

SHORTAGES: BE CERTAIN TO SIFT THROUGH THE PACKING MATERIALS IN THE BOX. Some items shift to the bottom of the box during shipping and are almost always found at the bottom of the carton beneath packing material. We employ a two-fold check off system and order shortages are rare. If you believe you have been shorted (and have carefully checked the packing), please email. We must be notified within 3 days of delivery. Failure to notify us in writing (email or fax) within 3-days of delivery nullifies any shortage claims associated with the order in question. Claims of shortages are reviewed and handled on a case by case basis.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Oversea shipments ship by US Postal Global Express. The online shopping cart does is not able to calculate shipping on overseas shipments. The cost will be calculated once the order is received. Canadian orders ship by UPS Canada Standard or US Postal Service.

Payment for product must be in U.S. Funds. We DO NOT accept PayPal payments on orders outside the USA and Canada unless you have a verified Paypal account. You will need to pay by credit card if you are placing an overseas order. Buyers/customers outside the USA are responsible for all brokerage fees, custom and/or duty taxes that may apply. These costs are over and above the cost of shipping. If you are concerned about these additional costs, contact the postal service or a UPS office within your country for an estimate. GoPlanetEarth.com cannot estimate these additional costs. We reserve the right to adjust the shipping estimate shown to cover the actual cost of shipping on any order placed online, by fax, or phone.

WHOLESALE INQUIRIES: NO FURTHER DISCOUNTS ARE GIVEN other than those listed online.

PRICES: We make every effort to keep our web site updated. However, due to the volatile nature of the ingredients that we use and sell or product changes by our manufacturers, prices may change without notice. An E-sales receipt is sent when an order ships.  It will indicate any revised pricing. We reserve the right to adjust prices when applicable.

DECLINED CREDIT CARDS: Be certain there are available funds on your credit card before placing an order. Should your credit card decline, you will be contacted ONCE by email. If no response is received within 48 hours, the order will be cancelled.

PAYPAL PAYMENT: A Request for Payment email is sent when paying by PayPal. Payment must be received within 24-48 hours to avoid order cancellation. Click here for more detailed information about paying with PayPal.

DAMAGE CLAIMS: Open cartons immediately to inspect for damage. Damage must be reported to both UPS and GoPlanetEarth.com within 48 hours (of receiving your order) for replacement items to be considered.  UPS can be contacted at 1-800-PICK-UPS (domestic customer service) or 1-800-782-7892 (for Canadian customers). A UPS representative will contact our company concerning the damage claim. DO NOT discard the shipping carton or any packing material should you find damage. UPS may need to inspect the carton before approving a damage claim. We cannot replace damaged merchandise if UPS was unable to inspect the carton.

Overseas International Customers: The postal service does not insure packages to certain countries, and even when they do, the claim process can take several months and compensation is rare.

Every precaution is taken to pack your order so it arrives safely. Unfortunately, we have no control over the handling of a package once it leaves our facility. We will do everything possible to assist with any reported damage on USA and Canadian shipments.

RETURNS: We do not accept returns or make exchanges unless our company is in error. Order carefully as all sales are final. If you are uncertain about a product, please contact us by phone )1-810-750-1406) or by email and we will gladly assist with any questions or concerns.

Any authorized return is subject to a 15% restocking fee (unless we were at fault) and the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product. We do not refund any portion of shipping/handling costs. Authorized returns are issued as an online IN-STORE credit. Returned product must be unused and in saleable condition.

CANCELLED ORDERS: We do not accept order cancellations once we or our labs have started to process an order. If you need to cancel an order, it must be done within one hour of placing the order. No exceptions. Absolutely no cancellations or refunds are granted once an order has shipped. Order cancellations must be submitted in writing (email or fax notification accepted.) Order cancellations are subject to our approval.

A $5.00 cancellation fee applies to approved order cancellations. A $10.00 handling fee applies to special orders/ volume discounts / and orders containing colored soap product.  All approved order cancellations incur a 15% restocking fee.

REFUSED DELIVERIES: If you refuse delivery of an order or replacement product, the following charges will apply: The cost of shipping/handling PLUS a 25% restocking fee.

We will refuse delivery on any package returned to us unless we have specifically authorized the return due to an error on our part. Our unique return authorization number must be clearly labeled on the outside of the package. Authorized returns must be received by our company within 7 business days from the date the return authorization is issued.

DELIVERY TIME: We can not promise a specific delivery time. If you request a specific delivery time on your order form, it will be ignored. Delivery times (example: deliver before 4 pm, or after 3 pm) are out of our control. UPS does have guaranteed delivery times for certain services:

UPS 2nd Day Air is guaranteed by end of second business day. UPS does not count the pick-up day when calculating delivery time. Remember, we still must process the order, so 2nd Day service only applies to delivery. It does not mean your order will ship the same day as received.

UPS 3-Day Select is guaranteed by end of third business day. UPS does not count the pick-up day when calculating delivery time. Remember, we still must process the order, so 3-Day Select service only applies to delivery. It does not mean your order will ship the same day as received.

UPS Ground Residential is not guaranteed. Packages ship from our Michigan facility, zip code 48430. Depending on your UPS shipping zone, it can take 1-5 business days.

UPS does not count the day a package is picked up. Business days do not include weekends or major holidays. UPS is closed on major holidays and the day after Thanksgiving. See the time in transit map to determine standard ground delivery time to your state.

TRACKING YOUR PACKAGE: E-mail notification is sent to customers providing a valid email address. This service allows you to track UPS shipments from our web site. Trying to track a UPS package prior to receiving a shipping notice will result in an error message. Shipments outside the US and Canada will be sent a postal tracking number. Postal shipments cannot be tracked from our web site. You will need to visit USPS.com to track international postal shipments.
